The PCMArch Database was created to house documentation from archaeological and restoration projects conducted by expeditions of the Polish Centre of Mediterranean Archaeology, University of Warsaw.
Since 1959, specialists from the University of Warsaw, along with colleagues from other Polish and international institutions collaborating with PCMA UW, have worked on numerous sites across North Africa and the Middle East. Over the years, documentation from these projects was recorded in various formats and using a range of techniques.
In recent years, the PCMA UW Documentation Archiving Department has been gradually digitizing this material and making it available for viewing through the PCMArch Database.
We invite you to explore this growing collection of records from PCMA UW fieldwork, which has contributed significantly to our understanding of the archaeology and history of the Mediterranean and the Middle East.
